Builder. Strategist. Startup Survior.

What I Bring

I’m a marketing leader who’s equally at home in a board meeting and a messy shared drive. I bring the strategy to know where growth will come from, the experience to lead teams, agencies, and budgets from seed to scale, and the willingness to jump in and do the work myself. I’m at my best when a company is ready for its next stage and needs someone to build the marketing that gets it there, starting on day one.

How I Got Here

I’ve built marketing at startups, agencies, and established fintech brands, growing from creating the content to leading the strategy behind it. Click any role to see what I built there.

“Ange was instrumental in shaping our company’s content strategy. Ange’s attention to detail, coupled with her strategic thinking, helped educate our potential clients and elevate our brand. She’s an outstanding leader who would be an asset to any content-driven organization.”

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I You’ll get someone who takes ownership of the outcome, not just my piece of it. If a launch is at risk because a landing page is broken, a legal review is stuck, or nobody’s sure who’s writing the email, I’ll find out why and get it moving. I’d rather solve the problem than send a status update about it.

You’ll also get a partner, not a silo. I love working across departments: sitting in on sales calls to hear how customers actually talk, learning just enough about the product roadmap to be dangerous, and making compliance a teammate instead of a last-minute hurdle. Some of my best ideas have come from someone outside marketing saying, “Can I ask a dumb question?”

I’ll be honest with you. If a channel isn’t working, a campaign missed, or a plan needs to change, I’ll say so early and come with a fix. Good teams don’t need spin. They need clear information and a next step.

I cut my teeth in startups, where plans change overnight and you learn to make bold calls with incomplete information. That’s made me fast, flexible, and surprisingly organized for someone who thrives in a little chaos. I keep plans tidy and deadlines realistic, and I’m usually the one who remembers the detail everyone else forgot.

I’m a self-starter who works well independently. I check in proactively so nobody has to chase me for an update, and I respect people’s time enough not to turn something that should be an email into a meeting. I’m also a true extrovert, so when we do get together, I ask a lot of questions, celebrate wins out loud, and bring a steady supply of Simpsons references to any situation that calls for one, and several that don’t.

And it’ll be fun. Once, every person on my team wrote “funny” on my performance review, and I’ll take it. Fair warning: I’m also a music nerd, and I will absolutely start a Slack channel dedicated to new finds, from hip-hop to country.
